Matt joined the predecessor of BridgePoint Medical, Prospex Medical, in March 2006 as a program manager. He has eleven years of medical device experience, which includes eight years of medical device start-up experience in research and development and operations for both acutely used and implantable products. Prior to BridgePoint Medical, Matt held a research and development management position at American Medical Systems. Matt also worked for five years at Teramed (aortic endovascular graft company acquired by Cordis 2001) where he held management positions both in research and development and operations. Matt has 7 patents granted and numerous pending.
